Philippines · Kawasan Falls

Kawasan Falls is a three-stage cascade of clear turquoise water from mountain springs located in a province of Cebu called Badian. Badian is located in the southern part of the island close to Moalboal. The waterfall is considered as a pearl of the Philippines.

Kawasan has 3 waterfalls. The first one is the largest of the three, and is usually the most crowded. It cascades 20m into a massive, milky-blue swimming hole. Unfortunately this main pool has been a little spoilt by weekend crowds and over-development. The second and third waterfalls are more peaceful, and you can even scramble beyond these to more secluded spots, or otherwise arrange canyoning trips in Panagsama.

Aquamarine water, lush tropical greenery, stone vaults, coolness and freshness. This place could be called a paradise lost in the jungles if it was not so touristic. But it is very touristic.
